SCARBOROUGH

It has become a church tradition that one Sunday early in August we book a coach and have a day trip to the seaside. The difficulties of the past two years had meant it had not been possible but there’s no keeping us from our fish and chips a moment longer than absolutely necessary! So last Sunday we set off for Scarborough arriving around lunch time. Some stayed on the beach and even braved a paddle in the sea, some had a wander around the shops or museum, some played the penny arcades. After the last episode where Dave lost his fish to a daring seagull we all kept a close eye on our chippy tea. A really good day enjoyed by all.

Scarborough was wonderful, great choice Dave, something for everyone, those who wanted beach, walking, town, sightseeing, arcades, ice cream, boat rides, fish and chips etc... Great choice, thanks for thinking of everyone.” Martyn xx

Had a great day! And thank you . Helen B xx
