Review: The Art of Celebration by Rend Collective
I became a fan of this group from the minute I heard 'Build Your Kingdom Here' from the last album.  As you probably know if the lyrics aren't good that ruins a song for me regardless of how great the music might be.  No danger of that here!  Great music and faith filled lyrics.

I defy you to sit still while you listen to this album.  It will have you dancing around your living room and lives up to the title 'The Art of Celebration'.  The style is distinctive with more than a hint of the Irish!  This is what they say about their work:

"We made this with our own hands and with one goal - to rediscover the art of celebration and remind ourselves that the joy of the Lord is our strength.  It is impossible to imagine pure joy and celebration without music....We tried to make it sound like fun.  It's what the Psalmist calls 'joyful noise'....  We used a bewildering array of the weird, wonderful, whimsical musical toys that we're still not too old to love, our native Irish folk instruments, some good old-fashioned rock 'n' roll guitars and even some synth-pop inspired elements.  We hope you enjoy it because we made it for you."
