We will not be meeting at the Winding Wheel this Sunday (Feb 3rd) as it is being used for a Beer Festival.  Instead we are going to take the opportunity to meet together with New Life Ignite Church at Holmehall.
You will find the Holmebrook Valley Family Centre near the shops off Wardgate Way.  Arrive from 10am for a coffee before the meeting starts with worship at 10.30 am.

It's going to be a great morning.

Every time we gather the whole church together it is a great time but this Sunday is extra special.  Our friends from Holmebrook Valley Church who have been working closely with us for quite a while have decided to formally join us and become a part of  New Life Church.

They will still meet together at the Family Centre in Holmehall on Sundays at 10.30 am except for the last Sunday of the month when we all come together.  We are so excited to be working together and supporting one another going forward.

This Sunday we will have some time to officially welcome HBVC  into NLC and to pray together.  Then we will follow the meeting by sitting                                                  down to enjoy a meal together.

Please plan to stay and enjoy some fellowship over lunch.

We had a wonderful evening with the Watoto Choir and as always  their energy and smiles lit up the room.  They performed songs from their most recent CD "We Will Go" and some of the children shared their personal stories.  For some they were orphaned, for others circumstances meant a parent was unable to care for them.  What was obvious was that being part of the Watoto family had transformed their lives for the better and given them a hope for the future.

Our host families thoroughly enjoyed having the children to stay overnight and would have loved to have more time with them.  Please pray for the work of Watoto in Uganda and if you could possibly sponsor a child or a mother you can find out more information at:  https://www.watoto.com/give/sponsor/

Delighted that we have managed to get a date in the Watoto African Children's Choir 2019 tour.  They will be coming to us at the
Winding Wheel on Tuesday 22nd January 7pm with their brand new concert entitled "We Will Go!"  These children have had a tough start in life but you cannot fail to be inspired by the joy and hope that explodes out of their singing and dancing.  It is a professional style production, full of wonderful personalities and reflecting their modern African heritage.

Admission is FREE but you will have opportunity to give to the Watoto ministry during the concert.  There will also be opportunity to buy CDs and merchandise from related ministries.
This concert is a real treat and suitable for all the family - don't miss out!
