This Sunday we will take time to remember those men and women who served their country and gave their lives in times of war so that we can live in peace.  It is particularly poignant this year as we commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1.  Why not make time this week to visit some of the fantastic tributes that are in place all over our town.

On Sunday morning we will also be honouring Jesus who gave his life so that we might enter into an eternity at peace with God.  Spend some time thinking this week and remembering what God has done in your life.  Remember those times when he has miraculously provided for you, when he has intervened to turn impossible situations around for you, when he has healed your body or someone you have prayed for.  Write down your thoughts and bring them with you on Sunday to put in a thanksgiving box.
